We are not casting at the present time.
SCRIPT SUBMISSIONS
Any writer can submit a new play to us. We are looking for plays which leap off the page and get our pulses racing, suitable for 1-4 actors with good, strong imaginative writing. All we ask if that your play hasn't been performed yet.
If you have a play that you feel we should see, we are waiting to share it. Suitable scripts will be read and feedback given if we feel your play has potential for Old Forge.
Length - Minimum 30 minutes, Maximum 2.5 hours with interval
Previous Exposure -We will only read unsolicited submissions if the scripts are new and have not been produced professionally. Plays that have had rehearsed readings or any other type of exploration done on them will be ok
Subject Matter - We are a touring theatre company, so minimal sets/props are preferable. We will not consider musicals, pantomimes or children's plays.
How to submit -
By E-mail -Send your complete script to oldforgeproductions@yahoo.com and marking the Subject 'Script Submission'
By Post - Scripts should be posted to Old Forge Productions, 1 Cross Tree Road, Messingham, Scunthorpe, Nth Lincs, DN17 3NX. Please include a SAE if you want your script returned.
